Kicking resolution ass and taking names

Yesterday I crossed off one thing from my 2010 resolution list! (pats self in back)

A few months ago I found a Hakuba tripod at the thrift store in perfect condition ($2!) except that it was missing the quick release plate. I kept meaning to order the part, but I never got around to it and the tripod was just sitting in my closet gathering dust. Until yesterday!

I finally did some research, found a place that carried the plate I needed and placed the order. Woohoo! I hope this helps me improve my shop pictures, but (what I’m most excited about) this also means no more pictures of my husband and I from awkward one of us is holding the camera angles. Those pictures suck.

I know this is a very small thing that many people would not have bothered to put on their resolution list- but I like making lists and I like crossing things off my lists.

So even though my resolution list has some big long term goals, it is also peppered with things like:

buy the perfect sterling silver hoop earrings

finally try chocolate covered potato chips

and learn to bake an apple pie from scratch.

It’s my list and I’m sticking to it :)

i totally know what you mean about resolutions like this. i have tons of detail-y ones that i never take the time to get done.
btw, i think the pics in your etsy shop are quite lovely!

It's funny how committing things to paper gives me a kick in the pants and forces me to make the time for the little things. lol. and thank you- it took me a bit to take good pictures- i'm still learning. :)
